WHO WE ARE
The Boys and Girls Clubs of South Africa is a facility based after school program for children between the ages of 6 and 18 years of age. The Club offers a variety of activies in 5 different program areas designed to meet the interests and needs of the members.
The Boys & Girls Club is more than just a place for boys and girls to play and learn. Its a safe haven that provides activities and experiences that enrich the lives of young people creating opportunities and expectations that teach valuable life skills that they can rely on throughout their lives.
The Club involves young boys and girls in wholesome activities that build their self-esteem and self-worth. They learn the values of responsibility and respect in a supportive environment free of pressure and stress. We empower children to make wise and educated life choices. In this age of teen alcohol, drugs, premarital sex, and violence, we work to help create model members of society.
BGCSA serves children in five major program areas: Education/IT/Career Development; Health/Life Skills; Sports/Fitness/ Recreation/; Arts/Culture; Character/Leadership Development.
